The metal piece continues upward with delicately balanced shapes in contrasting colors. A circular mechanism above facilitates the smooth adjustability of the lamp on the side. Here it is used on the base and it looks to be holding up the bright yellow lacquered disk, as if to offer you a table top for your use.  A green handle at the top makes it easily movable and a perfect side table near a simple black leather couch or extra special next to one of De Lucchi’s First chairs for Memphis.
