Iconic makers in the world of Italian design and craftsmanship, the Bitossi family of Montelupo, near Florence, have been potters as far back as 1536. It was Guido Bitossi who in 1921 established the factory as a centre for research, tirelessly exploring new styles and techniques.
Under the artistic direction of the infamous Aldo Londi, from the 1950s onwards Bitossi became renowned for reinterpreting tradition to produce truly unique collections. Through collaborations with architects and designers such as Benjamin Hubert and Dimorestudio, Bitossi never ceases to innovate and inspire.
