Bottle Holder

265

The Modular bottle-holder was designed as a functional accessory that can be both a decorative element placed on the kitchen counter or on the floor. An important detail of this product is its modularity. Each module contains a bottle and can be easily connected to two other modules by means of a groove located along the base. By combining and stacking elements you can create small structures – max. 1 m in height – that can be placed on the wall, about 4 cm from the wall to give greater stability to the assembled module.

Papillion Opaque Pendant

2,728

Papillion pendant is part of a new perforated luminaire collection from the Danish brand 101 Copenhagen. The luminaire was designed by Copenhagen’s Kristian Sofus and Tommy Hynldahl, who were inspired by Mathieu Matégot’s way of working with sheet metal in a soft and organic way. Through experiments with mask size, light filtering and lighting, the designers decided to work with a fine mask perforated sheet. The characteristic lens shape gives the carbide surface a biological quality while simultaneously optimizing light scattering. Papillion refers to the French word for butterflies “PAPILLION”, which poetically plays on the floating lampshades as the focal point of the lamps. Papillion is in tree variants; Brass with perforated lampshades, oxidized with lampshades made of opaque glass and French rattan, colonial.

The Candle Holder L Stainless Steel has been created by Jaime Hayon for the brand Fritz Hansen. This candle holder is the designer’s interpretation of the classic candleholder. He has reimagined it with a round metallic platform that three candleholders stand on. The base of the candleholders has varying thicknesses which adds visual interest and intrigue. The aesthetics are also enhanced with cylinder-shaped extensions of the lower half of the candleholder. The three candle holders stand at different heights so your flames will vary in height when in use. To further play with that effect buy candles of different lengths for contrast in height and burn time.

The Candle Holder L Stainless Steel has a height of 20cm and a diameter of 16cm. When the candles are turned lit, it creates a cosy, inviting ambiance with the candlelight reflecting on the stainless steel platform to create a playful, dancing effect. The Margin lighting family is designer John Asbury’s modern interpretation of a classic luminaire. Exploring a tiered typology for lighting, Margin’s intersecting shades gently diffuse the light and instantly set the tone with warmth and tactility. The softness of the fabric is tempered by a clean and graphic silhouette that lends a certain presence and volume to a space. It is the sense of proportions, along with details such as the linear element through the lamp, which sharpen the aesthetics and allow Margin’s special character to unfold.

Rise & Shine Wall Mirror

2,005

The Rise & Shine Wall Mirror has been created by the Hunting & Narud Studio for the brand New Works. The London-based studio strives to provide durable, clever and meaningful pieces for spaces and those who dwell in them. The studio’s founders, Norwegian-born designers Amy Hunting and Oscar Narud, stay true to their Nordic roots with superior craftsmanship and sleek profiles. That can be seen in the Rise & Shine Wall Mirror which received a nomination for the Design of The Year Award in 2016. Its lines are clean and uncluttered and its whole look is bold and unexpected with an asymmetrical shape that draws the eye. It has an oak central point from which the circular mirror hangs. The two are held together with a dark cord that pulls and pushes the oak centre and the mirror so that the point of reflection is constantly changing. A solid brass or steel weight at the end of the cord helps to keep everything counter-balanced.

The Rise & Shine Wall Mirror has a height of 80 to 160cm and a diameter of 45cm. It can be adjusted to different heights to suit personal preferences. This unique mirror with changing points of reflection challenge the old concept of a traditional wall mirror.

Bernardo Panda Bosa Sculpture

Bernardo Panda designed by Elena Salmistraro for Bosa is a sculpture made of ceramic, in the shape of a panda.

The panda is the international symbol of all endangered species (it’s no coincidence that it’s also the icon of the WWF). In this sculpture, this cute and often lazy bear stands proudly on his hind legs.
Bernardo means ‘strong and brave as a bear’, and Elena Salmistraro has envisioned him adorned like the head of a tribe. A sort of armour, the crown of leaves and branches of his favourite food, bamboo, turn him into a hero ready to fight to defend all other animals.
The unique decorations of this ceramic piece – with its alternating hues, 3D inserts and refined shiny and matt finishes – make it a fascinating character that inspires the imagination and reminds us how vital it is to save our planet.

Yachts: The Impossible Collection

2,775

Since time immemorial, monarchs, nobility and the aristocracy have yearned to spend their leisure time on the water. From Cleopatra’s fabled luxury barge to Her Majesty’s Royal Yacht Britannia, from elegant Jazz Age vessels such as Nahlin, once chartered by King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, to the swinging ’60s Hollywood royalty invited aboard Aristotle Onassis’ Christina O, the yachting scene has always attracted celebrities, high society and the top 0.1%. But with over three thousand sizable yachts currently in the global fleet, not to mention those legendary vessels that are sadly no longer in existence, how do we distinguish the crème de la crème of this exclusive breed?

Yachts: The Impossible Collection is an eclectic and carefully curated anthology of ships, from the 1851 ship for which the America’s Cup was named, to J Class racing yachts of the early 1900s, to the current high-tech megayachts, from classics with timeless silhouettes, to head-turners that broke the mold with daring design and redefined their era. And with so much focus today on the environment and the health of the oceans, the yachting world is changing quickly, increasingly pursuing sustainability. Whether impossible in sheer size, speed, luxurious features or advanced green technology, all of the vessels in this fantasy marina have transformed the yachting seascape.

As long as there are people with means and blue oceans to explore, there will always be a demand for these beautiful and impossible creatures that break the boundaries of technology, luxury and decadence—and new yachts are still yet to be built, worthy of The Impossible Collection.

Ruché Armchair

Ruché is armchair by Inga Sempé for Ligne Roset. Structure made in solid beech wood, is available in both right and left.

Ruché is armchair with the fabric wrinkled or pleated combining the unusual and the traditional. The unusual with this solid wood frame, the great tradition of the quilt, the center of his know-how. The uprights and the undulations of lungolinea duvet, form a harmonious blend of rigorous straight lines and smooth curves, Ruché is warm and soft. The base is available in 3 finishes: matt lacquered beech natural or stained dark gray or red. The suspension of the seat is Pullmaflex, the suspension of the backrest is constructed with a steel grille mounted on springs while the suspension of the armrests is made with elastic belts.

Ruche Queen Bed

As with the Ruché seating, the Ruché bed is lifted from the ground by a simple, fine structure which supports a comfortable sleep platform. The headboard and frame are dressed with a distinctive quilting, a kind of boutis stitch of padding made using a cross-hatching of interrupted seams. Alternately flattened by the stitches then set free, the fabric ‘curls’ in places, giving rise both to its unique appearance and to its name, Ruché (a gathered or pleated fabric which serves as decoration on a piece of clothing). For Ligne Roset, Ruché also brings together the unusual and the traditional. The unusual thing about this piece is its solid wood structure, and the great traditional element: the quilting, the very heart of its savoir-faire. Its tall uprights and the undulations of its duvet combine to produce a harmonious union of rigorous straight lines and soft, welcoming curves.
