Frieze Washbasin

4,195

Inspired by “entablatures” series by Roy Lichtenstein, the project is articulated through different levels of signs, materials and colours where the washbasin stars as central element of the bathroom.
The architectural approach of the designers involves the entire spatial dimension of the bathroom: the position of the sink is defined by a central band, available in different materials and colours, creating space to install mirrors, shelves, furniture and towel hooks.
Aesthetically exuberant, full of colour and with a strong architectural imprint, Frieze washbasins are characterised by geometrical shapes. They are available in different materials, textures and colours: white, powder pink, lilac and bright blue.
Frieze One Low, Frieze One High, Frieze Two Lined can be set as freestanding or countertop basins.

Float Mirror

2,825

Float mirror is large round mirror that appears to have two geometric objects floating within its surface. The mirror is a playful contemporary interpretation of the classic dressing room vanity mirror with a round light plus shelf. Towards the bottom edge is a rounded semi-circular marble shelf and at the top is spherical opaque glass lamp that is switched on & off via a pull cord.

Blue Glass Vase

970

“I designed these vases with flowers that must contain: almost to bring them back to their native habitat. Which can be best container if not their very roots, the instrument for which the nourishment, water, get to the petals and leaves? Root vessels are ambivalent objects that want to combine simple lines to an iconic form: a glass cylinder with a transparent inner element is made of coloured glass that represents the root of a flower. These products, made of glass, are ambivalent because they can be used in two directions: on the one hand as the other for a more generous solifleur bouquet “.

Lemante Coffee Tables

Lemante is a collection of small tables replate with striking stylistic signs and with a strong biographical note for its creator, Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro. The collection refers to organic forms found in nature juxtaposed with the more essential lines of the frame and is based on a simple geometric idea: two parallel squares rotated and offset by 45°. Prominent among the structural elements are the slender frame in metal rod and the corner joint composed of an aluminum casting. The tops are available in extra light transparent glass or molten glass, a process that creates organic textures and irregularities on the surface for a distinct tactile effect. Two materials are available for the base, black Marquinia marble or glossy lacquered in numerous shades. The collection comprises four interlocking sizes for infinite decorative compositions.

Blitz Table – Limited Edition

sculptural and unexpectedly powerful table produced in a limited and numbered edition of only 100 pieces, Blitz stands out for its flat, slim, geometric external frame, which finds its natural completion in the curved and sinuous shapes of the interior, revealing aesthetic and constructive solutions reminiscent of a suspension bridge. Bamboo was chosen for the frame due to its lightness and rapid growth, a wood here ennobled by fine solid wood processing.

It is an unusual choice for indoor use, but one that follows and relaunches the traditional quality of B&B Italia materials, at the service of an object reflecting a unique combination of design, engineering and high-quality cabinetmaking.

The surface pattern contrasts with the table’s interior in a soft black shellac effect finish. This solution generates intense visual effects, where curved shadows seem to float on flat surfaces. The top folds at the ends like origami, becoming a support that tapers and folds again in order to rest on the ground. Countless technological solutions guarantee extreme solidity, despite the apparent lightness.

Tufty-Bed

35,970

Tufty-Bed is a bed by Patricia Urquiola for B&B Italia. The existing Tufty Time collection has now been extended to the night time area, where ”chesterfield”style and “capitonnè” look are expressed in a more marked manner. The upholstery in leather or fabric is subdivided into large squares that are joined by pleats, perforated in the leather version.

Le Bambole — Bamboletto Bed

31,600

The Bamboletto Bed is a part of B&B Italia’s revitalization of Mario Bellinis’ Le Bambole series. Originally designed in 1972, Le Bambole won numerous awards, including the prestigious Compasso d’Oro in 1979. If you have ever taken one of your bed pillows and plumped” it, hit it in the center, and watched the corners expand, you’ve just re-created Bellini’s inspiration for his Le Bambole seating design. The action of plumping” and the resulting fullness visually connotes a profound bedtime” comfort and softness – precisely the feeling Bellini wanted to impart to all Le Bambole pieces.

Clyde Low unit

10,725

Numéro111 and Michel then decided to develop the Clyde range, taking as a starting point its essential characteristics – the brass-coated or black lacquered steel structure with its V-shaped supports and the way in which the tops are superposed. And so two new pieces were born: a bookcase and a multi-use low unit (low bookcase, low open sideboard, TV,…).

Recalling both vintage toys and street scaffolding, Construction’s components are assembled by hand to an impressively idiosyncratic result.
