Featuring Yasuhiro Kikuoka’s reinterpretation of the garofano – a highly stylized carnation applied in chinoiserie style to Florentine ceramics – Ginori 1735’s Oriente Italiano collection is a throwback to times long passed. Defined by delicate hues produced using an airbrush technique on the porcelain giant’s famed Antico Doccia style of tableware, the series presents a rich and exotic aesthetic.
