The Tea with Alice collection was inspired by classic English literature and created by award-winning illustrator Teresa Lima. After receiving a Degree in Painting from the School of Fine Arts in Lisbon, Lima began illustrating Children’s books in 1994. In 1998 she was rewarded in the 3rd edition of the National Prize of Illustration where she won with the recreation of Alice in Wonderland. 2015 marked the 150th anniversary of the first time that Lewis Carroll told the story of Alice in Wonderland so Vista Alegre launched the Tea with Alice tea set to make her magical characters come to life.
