The Kubus Bowl bowl is made in Denmark with a focus on high quality and solid craftsmanship. The bowl is a natural and logical evolution of the iconic Kubus candleholder, which Mogens Lassen designed back in 1962 and which perfectly represents his contemporary, functionalist style.
The design of the Kubus Bowl is based on original sketches by Mogens Lassen. The round bowl with its square base shows classic geometric elements as known from the Bauhaus school. And indeed, the Bauhaus was a primary source of inspiration for the Danish architect and designer. The Bauhaus maxim that good design should be accessible to everyone also provided Mogens Lassen with a great incentive in his work.
