Yuh Floor Lamp is designed by GamFratesi for Louis Poulsen with shade and base in die cast aluminium and stem in extruded brass, matt wet painted in white or black.
Yuh stands for indivduality: the name of this elegant lamp by Louis Poulsen ist the phonetic transcription of the English word “you”. Thanks to a shade, adjustable in three ways, Yuh is able to provide light exactly where it is needed and, thus, meet a personal demand. At the same time a diffuser ensures that the light is always glare-free.
The straight light fixture of lacquered metal has an originally-shaped, yet simple looking shade. It is possible to move it up and down along the stem, to tilt it to the front or to swivel it to the side. Its light illuminates directly downwards through the diffuser and indirectly into the room through a slot on top of the shade. The cable runs along the stem up to the shade and completes the design of the light fixture Yuh with a loosely hanging detail.
