Quaderna Console

The reduced Quaderna wall console is part of a furniture collection that the avant-garde design collective Superstudio designed for Zanotta between 1969 and 1972. A characteristic feature of the design was a checked pattern, with which the furniture was covered. In addition to various stools, the original Zanotta collection also contained wall coverings and other furniture such as the wall table offered here. This graphical solution attracted a lot of attention at the time. Today the collection includes the Quaderna bench, the Quaderna console and the dining table of the same name. By the way, the third picture shows the console in the Markanto Depot.
