The Louis Poulsen Moonsetter floor lamp is a very special piece of art with built-in LED technology. The light source is completely hidden in the floor lamp and shines towards the disc that can rotate 360° around its own axis. This metal disc has a white finish on one side and a reflective high-gloss chrome finish on the other. If you shine the light on the white side, you create diffuse and soft light, while the reflective chrome side bounces light directly into the room. By manually turning the disc, you decide which way the light is cast. The rotating footswitch allows you to dim the Louis Poulsen Moonsetter completely, as well as switching the floor lamp on and off.
This Moonsetter floor lamp is a unique lamp in addition to its appearance, as only 100 pieces are made. Each lamp gets a serial number from 1-100. Please contact us for availability.
Where does the name Moonsetter come from?
The design of the Louis Poulsen Moonsetter is reminiscent of the full moon or new moon. To imitate the full moon, you turn the white disc towards you, creating an entirely white surface. If you prefer to create the crescent moon that is typical of a new moon, then turn the reflective side towards you.
