The Flos 2097 chandelier was designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1958. It has been part of the repertoire of Flos (originally Arteluce Flos) since the foundation of the brand, and has since become a modern classic.
The structure consists of a vertical iron bar with several slim, horizontal arms made of brass, each with a lamp at the end. The design is given additional complexity and a casual touch by the power cables that run from the central rod to the lamp holders. The ceiling bracket and canopy of the pendant lamp are made of steel.
The 2097 pendant lamp can be equipped with different types of E14 bulbs, a visible and important detail of the design. The choice between a clear or a matt bulb determines the overall appearance and the lighting effect of the chandelier.
