Ruflette

A rufflette is a thick strip of tape which is sewn to the top of curtains so they can be gathered, to which curtain hooks can be attached. With this suspended light by Marie-Christine Dorner, a tall rufflette is wrapped around the outer edges of the widest part of the shade and it is this which, by pleating the cotton chintz, enables regular pleats to be formed on its two slopes. A classic technique for a contemporary and very charming design. Shade in 100% cotton fabric, mounted on a rufflette like a curtain. May be taken apart for cleaning.

Diffuse lighting hanging appliance. The dome is a combination of luminous and dark elements arranged into a network and formed of core structures covered with a thin interwoven colourful tubular mesh made from recycled and recyclable fabric produced from polyester. Every single luminous element is powered by special micro-connectors located at the top of the dome and is covered with a two-tone mesh, while the side facing the inside of the dome is always white in order to allow for optimal light emission from the LED module. The appliance is fitted with a built-in balancing system at the top of the dome which helps adjust its balance, making it perfectly stable. The bottom of the dome is completed by an aluminium ring that keeps the dome’s entire network structure in place through a simple snap-fit system. The product is assembled with absolutely no glue so it can be fully separated to be recycled in the future and in case of any repairs or replacements.

Heracleum II

Design by Bertjan Pot Powered Through Electrosandwich by Marcel Wanders, 2010. The white leaves/lenses ramify from one branch creating a very technical, natural structure. By using the technique of coating conductive layers (Electrosandwich), the lamp is very thin and delicate. A design not possible with normal wires. The Heracleum leaves are not frozen in one position. They can be freely re-positioned by rotating them around their stem. Heracleum II provides decorative ambient light. Metal wire frame, polycarbonate lenses and ultra-thin suspension wire. Offered in nickel

OE Quasi Light pendant

Louis Poulsen’s OE Quasi Light is an impressive, large-scale light sculpture by the world-renowned Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson. Quasi Light consists of a dark aluminium frame and white polycarbonate reflectors that seem to be floating inside the frame. All the shapes are based on precise geometry: the outer layer is a 20-faced polyhedron, icosahedron, and the inner reflector is dodecahedron with 12 pentagonal faces. The 12 embedded LEDs of the frame and the reflector in the centre emit glare-free, spherical light and create a play of geometry that changes endlessly depending on the viewing angle.

The lamp is made with a slim LED light source, and all components are packed in a narrow package for easy and environmentally friendly transport.

Perseus

Daring enhancement of the Murano tradition, the Perseus collection is characterized by a large number of glass elements that represent a compendium of the glassmaking techniques studied and developed by Barovier & Toso in the course of its long history, here reinterpreted, paired, and mixed by Marcel Wanders in a subversive way with respect to the canons of classicism. This chandelier looks like a dazzling explosion of glass, carefully balanced in volume, in the alternation of different colors (in three color combinations), in the asymmetrical game of the arms. The frame is chromed and the lighting is LED, which is supplied with the suspension.
