It is this principle that guided his hand when he designed the Glo-Ball F2 Floor Lamp. Its beauty is in its simplicity and its uniqueness in details such as acid-etching on the sphere-shaped diffuser of hand-blown opaline glass. This diffuser sits on an elegant tubular stem made of grey lacquered steel that is anchored in a matching, disc-shaped base.

Sanremo Floor Lamp
The prototype of the Sanremo floor lamp was an engagement present from Dario Bartolini to Lucia Morozzi, given to her in the villa in Roccamare designed by Ernesto Nathan Rogers. Sanremo is composed of a slender metal trunk topped by “foliage” like that of a stylized palm tree, formed by lanceolate transparent or fluorescent green methacrylate leaves that radiate light. The prototype also called for a sound similar to the song of a cricket, eliminated in the production version. “Since we were supposed to be practicing architects, many people couldn’t grasp what we were up to. In reality many of our objects were created for reasons other than that of architecture: an engagement party, a wedding. Gherpe Table Lamp
The Gherpe table lamp does not belong to the traditional typologies of lighting fixtures placed on a surface, due to its form like the shell of a marine creature, and to its use of an industrial material like methacrylate. It represents one of the first examples of an interactive luminous object, which thanks to its relationship with the user is capable of changing its tone: from white light for illumination, to colored light to alter the emotional perception of a space.

Moonsetter floor lamp

The light source is completely hidden in the floor lamp and shines towards the disc that can rotate 360° around its own axis. This metal disc has a white finish on one side and a reflective high-gloss chrome finish on the other. If you shine the light on the white side, you create diffuse and soft light, while the reflective chrome side bounces light directly into the room. By manually turning the disc, you decide which way the light is cast. The rotating footswitch allows you to dim the Louis Poulsen Moonsetter completely, as well as switching the floor lamp on and off.

A distant Christmas 1967 and the idea of Dario Bartolini to create iconic objects using landscapes and characteristic elements of the Italian Riviera. An idea, developed in the house of Giliberto for Lucia Marazzi, near Roccamare, carving with difficulty the plexiglass that was difficult to cut without laser technology, but not for this sin of precision. The base, in fake marble, which supported an old PVC drain pipe with a transformer inside. A creation subsequently entrusted to Poltronova, in those Florentine studios that have seen objects become icons of Italian and world design.
The name will then be Sanremo, in homage to those tall palm trees that host the super popular Italian music festival.
The story of an idea, made today with quality materials and peculiar techniques, but which still maintains the same philosophy as that Christmas 1967.

Fortuny Led Floor Lamp
9,145 ₾Conceived by Mariano Fortuny in 1907, the Fortuny floor lamp continues to be considered a contemporary and timeless icon to this day. The know-how and talent of the eclectic artist gave shape to the Fortuny lamp design with which he revolutionized stage lighting and experimented with a new indirect lighting system for the stage. The idea for the base came from the camera’s tripod, with its adjustable leg, while for the lampshade Mariano Fortuny reversed the typical lampshades of the time, making them tiltable and thus creating a light orientation instrument. In the history of design, there are few projects capable of lending themselves to new interpretations, keeping an unmistakable personality. The new version with Silver fabric from the famous Rubelli weaving mill is yet another example.
